David Lee Sansbury

David Lee Sansbury, age 80, passed away on December 3rd, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on June 11, 1943, in Miami, Florida, to Lemuel Chester Sansbury and Helen Campbell Sansbury. David leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a life well-lived.

David was a devoted family man, married to his beloved wife Betty-Jo. Together, they raised three children, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. His eldest, Timothy Sansbury, is the proud father of three daughters, Anna, Emily, and Paige. Christine, his second child, is married to Joseph Adkins, and they share the joy of raising two sons, Miles and Oliver. The youngest, James Sansbury, is married to Heather, and their family has grown to include three precious children, Otis, Ruby, and Esmé.

Professionally, David dedicated 30 years of his life to IBM, where his hard work and commitment left a lasting impact. His colleagues remember him as a dedicated and skilled professional, leaving a mark on the company and the lives of those he worked with.

Beyond his professional achievements, David's faith was a cornerstone of his life. A devoted Christian, he found strength and solace in his beliefs, guiding him through the various chapters of his life. His unwavering faith was a source of inspiration for all who knew him.

David Lee Sansbury will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but, more importantly, for the love he shared with his family, the strength he found in his faith, and the positive impact he had on the lives of those around him. May he rest in peace, leaving behind cherished memories that will be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
