Dawn Ann Prude

Dawn Ann Prude, of Green Cove Springs, Florida died unexpectedly on October 11, 2022 at the age of 66 while a resident of The Isles Rehabilitation Center in Fleming Island, Florida.

She was born to Orrin C. Merry and Rita C. (Cormier) Merry on February 22, 1956 in New London, Connecticut.  Dawn graduated from Fitch Senior High School in Groton, Connecticut and worked as a Nurse’s Assistant and Caregiver most of her life.  She married John Thomas Prude on May 12, 2001. 

Dawn enjoyed baking, gardening, and ceramics.  She will be remembered for being someone who loved to laugh, tell jokes, and take care of others.  Dawn was also a hard-core Harley-Davidson fan.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Nalani Lynn Kerns, Claire Jean Merry, and Rita Christi Merry.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Jennifer Charbonneau of Maryland and Jessica Trauschke of Florida; sister, Lila Merry Darby of Virginia and 6 grandchildren.
