Debbie Higgins, 63, of Orange Park, FL passed away on September 11, 2018. She was born on December 13, 1954 in Orange, New Jersey to the late James Stapp and Sylvia Spiegel Cherney. Debbie was of the Jewish faith and served in the United States Navy as a Yeoman for three years. Debbie was an animal lover and in her free time she enjoyed reading, crocheting and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, William J. Higgins; son, William Edward Higgins; daughter, Sarah Vera Higgins Gentry and grandson, Patrick Rhyan Gentry.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors.
