Debbie Monaghan

Debbie Monaghan 63, long-time resident of Green Cove Springs, Fl, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Debbie was born to Walter and Sarah Callaway April 29, 1958 in Braintree, Massachusetts. Debbie was a graduate of Clay High School, owner of Monaghan's Restaurant, and later a cook at Hickory Grove Early Learning Center.

Debbie loved her children, grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. She spent countless hours with her family camping, kayaking, and going to springs and beaches. 

She will be remembered as many things, but first and foremost as a loving mother, sister and friend. She also spent many years as a Girl Scout leader, and a Boy Scout Den Mother.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother (Sarah Callaway), father (Walter Callaway), and her children's father (Michael Monaghan). Debbie is survived by her children, William Monaghan and Jennifer Hunter as well as one grandchild, Kayla Hunter.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 25, at 11 o'clock at Hickory Grove Baptist Church and will be officiated by Dr. Tim McDaniel.
