Delbert Delagrange, affectionately known as Jack, passed away
Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Orange Park Medical Center, at the age of 90.
Jack was born to Joseph and Helen Delagrange on July 05, 1927
in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He has one brother, Robert.
He served honorably in the Merchant Marines during WWII and later served three years in the Army. After leaving military service, he was employed as a salesman before retiring in 1992.
Jack married Inga Mourtisen on May 4, 1994 in Houston, Texas where they lived before moving to Florida.
Jack became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on October 1, 1954 when he joined Pasadena Texas Lodge #1721. He was a Member of the Gold Coast Texas Legion #68. He received his Fellowship degree on June 16, 1968 and received the Pilgrim Degree of Merit on June 1, 1979. He was a past Governor and a member of the 25 Club, sponsoring 216 members in the Loyal Order of Moose.
Jack loved music! He was a professional DJ for many years and loved it.
He and his wife, Inga came to Moosehaven on July 9, 2012 where he resided for almost six years. Inga preceded him in death on October 23, 2015.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Mary, brother, Robert, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A Memorial mass held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at
St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Orange Park Florida.
He will be interred in the Moosehaven Mausoleum.
