Delores Gladys Peach

November 17, 1930 — April 13, 2020

Delores Gladys Peach, age 89, of Green Cove Springs and Jacksonville, FL passed away on April 13, 2020. She was born on November 17, 1930 in Olustee, Florida the oldest daughter of Clyde and Gladys (Hughes) White. After high school she attended Massey Business College. She worked for Kraft Foods, the Florida Times Union, and later became co-owner and manager of the Shady Oak Mobile Home Park in North Jacksonville until her retirement in 1995. After retirement she and her husband, Phillip Peach, moved to the Magnolia Point Community in Green Cove Springs and enjoyed many years of golfing, gardening and watching their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren mature and prosper.  

She was predeceased by her husband, Phillip R. Peach and was a long time, active member of the Island View Baptist Church in Orange Park. Her survivors include her daughters, Constance Melanson of Jacksonville and Patricia Caven of Plano, Texas and her son, John Christian Speir of Atlanta, Georgia. She will be missed but never forgotten by her four grandchildren, Leslie Valerio of Jacksonville, Chrisitian and Andrew Speir of Atlanta, and Terry Butts of Chattanooga and by her great-grandchildren, Jillian and Joseph Valerio and Tyler, Jordan, Angel and Wade Butts. She will always remain in the loving memories of her extended family, the Gary and Susie Edwards family of Atlanta and the Karen and Bruce Glisson family of South Carolina.
