Dennis Thomas Lord

Dennis “Red” Lord, 61, formerly of Port St. Joe, FL passed away on April 1, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL.

Dennis was born on April 3, 1958 in Lawrence, Mass to George and Mary Lord. He grew up in Pembroke Pines, FL where he pursued his passion for aviation like his father. He received his pilot’s license before he even had a driver’s license! Dennis was both an accomplished pilot and auto mechanic. He was well respected in both careers. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He raced cars, rode motorcycles and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was always ready to lend a hand or tell a corny joke to make you laugh.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Janet & Terence Youngblood; nieces Alison Youngblood, Julie Malinski (Matt), Marilynn Whitmore (Chris); grandniece Claire Malinski.

A family & friends memorial prayer was held on April 3, 2020 led by Reverend Elizabeth Gish. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity in his memory.
