Edna Dianne “Dee” (Wilkins) Walker
August 13, 1940 -November 6, 2022
Dianne “Dee” Wilkins Walker went peacefully to her Heavenly home, comforted and surrounded by her loved ones on the morning of Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was 82 years old. Dee was born in Graham Kentucky to the late James and Madge Wilkins. She attended Cody High School, the class of 1957. She relocated with her family to the Orange Park area in 1974. She enjoyed music, dance, movies, gardening, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. In the late 1970’s she joined a group of light-hearted CB enthusiasts and was very well known by the handle; “The Florida Mermaid”. Dee lived life to the fullest and will be remembered by many for her loud, boisterous and contagious laughter! She could light up a room with her vibrant spirit and beautiful smile!
Dee is preceded in death by her parents; her son, James X. Conklin and her brother, James L. Wilkins.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Terry Walker; her children, Dianne (Barry) Davis, Gail (Danny) Warren, and Joseph (Lyndsay) Hetu; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings, Kay Burgess, Angela (Darwin) Hawthorne, Billie Stanley, David Wilkins, Deborah (Wayne) Woodard, Daniel Wilkins and many nieces and nephews.
