Dolly Ethel Van Horn

Dolly passed away September 12, 2021 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 93.

She was born to B. H. and Anna Pettit on July 12, 1928 in Brentwood, Maryland.

Dolly married James Mills on May 9, 1947. They had a son James and a daughter Pam Bransfield.  She later married Arthur Van Horn on December 31, 1972.  He preceded her in death on February 24, 2009. Daughter, Pam preceded her in death in 2015 and son James preceded her in death in 2017.

She worked as a salesclerk for Safe Way Stores retiring in 1983.

Dolly became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on March 26, 1986 when she joined Tarpon Springs, Florida Chapter #1614.

She came to Moosehaven with her husband Art on May 31, 2006 where she has resided for 15 years. 

She is survived by granddaughter Tina Omealy of Port Republic, MD.

 A no-service direct entombment will in the Moosehaven Mausoleum beside husband Art will take place.
