Dolores S. Belkot

Dolores passed away, ​November 4, 2022​​, in the Health Care Center at Moosehaven at the age of 92.

She was born to Peter and Stella Rogowski on October 29, 1930 in Erie PA. Dolores married Theodore Belkot on July 15, 1950. They had six sons David, Theodore, Paul, Gary, Kenwyn, ​​and Dennis, residing in Pittsburgh, PA from 1959, until moving to Moosehaven in June of 2018. 

Dolores worked at Duquesne University in the food service industry.

Dolores became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on February 14, 2006 when she joined Beechview, PA Chapter #2338, enjoying many friends, activities, and events at Lodge 609.

Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Theodore,

2 grandchildren Wendy and David and is survived by her sons, David (late Antoinette) of Pittsburgh, PA, Theodore (Donna) of Hamilton, NJ, Paul (Karen) of Jacksonville, FL, Gary (Linda) of Georgetown, DE, Kenwyn (Dana) of Wexford, PA​, Dennis Belkot (Michelle), of Vancouver, WA, 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Moosehaven Chapel at 1:30 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 celebrated by Father Maurice Culver of St. Catherine​'​s Church.

Dolores will be laid to rest with her husband, Theodore in the Moosehaven Mausoleum, Orange Park, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Moosehaven Charities, to be earmarked for Mooseheart, a place for children to grow.
