Doris Gwen Thomas

Gwen passed away April 8, 2019 in the Baptist Medical Center at the age of 81.

She was born to Von Dean and Clara Gillespie on September 25, 1937 in Champaign, Illinois.

Gwen was self-employed as an IGA Grocery Store owner for seventeen years, before retiring in 1987.

She became affiliated with the Women of the Moose on September 14, 1970 when she joined the Cape Coral Chapter #815. Gwen received her Academy of Friendship on April 24, 1994.

Gwen came to Moosehaven on June 17, 2013 where she resided for over five years. 

No service at Moosehaven.

Gwen is survived by her sister in law, Helen Gillespie of Bemnet, Illinois.
