Dorothy Jean Vansen

Dorothy Jean Vansen passed away May 18, 2021 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 85.

She was born to John and Theresa Miller on May 29, 1935 in O’Fallon, Illinois.

Dorothy worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse retiring in 2000.

She married John Vansen on May 14, 2003.  He preceded her in death on May 3, 2021. Dorothy had a daughter, Helen, stepsons KC, Brian, Keith, Eric and Kirk, and stepdaughters, Sandra, Cynthia.

Dorothy became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on November 3, 1999 when she joined Big Pine Key, Florida Chapter #1810.

Dorothy and John came to Moosehaven on March 26, 2019 where she has resided for 2 years. 

No Services she will be laid to rest in Moosehaven Mausoleum, Orange Park, FL.

She is survived by daughter, Helen Waldron of Carnegie, PA, stepson KC, Brian Keith, Eric and Kirk Vansen, step daughters Sandra Rood and Cynthia Balko.
