Dr. Russell W. Pratt

Dr. Russell W. Pratt died August 29, 2022, at the Penney Retirement Community. He was born April 13, 1937, in Cohasset, MA. A graduate of Tufts Medical School, he interned at Rhode Island Hospital. Drafted into the Navy, he did a residency in Orthopedic Surgery. After serving in the Navy for eleven years, he resigned and opened an Orthopedic practice in Orange Park, Florida.

 He is survived by his brother Sheldon Pratt of Wakefield, Rhode Island; sister Carolyn of Cohasset Mass.; wife Cornelia DeSantis Pratt; children Russell, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, Karen Grainey of Savannah, Georgia and Stephen of Phoenix, Arizona; and grandchildren Tyler of New York City, and Jake of Tampa, Florida.

 A funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at St. Catherine Catholic Church located at 1649 Kingsley Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073 with Fr. Maurice Culver officiating.
