Edmund Thomas Grostick

Edmund Grostick, age 82, went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 12, 2024, with his loving wife at his side.

Edmund Thomas Grostick was born in Highland Park, Michigan to Connie and Frank Grostick in 1942. He grew up in Jupiter, FL, and graduated from Jupiter High School. Ed was drafted by the Army and proudly served with the Army Corps of Engineers in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1966. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University. He spent a lifetime working on advancing technology for our country at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory facilities.

Ed participated in several hobbies including golfing, fly fishing, hunting, anything outdoors, and he loved the Detroit Tigers. He became a follower of Jesus in 2012 and dedicated his remaining life to serving the Lord. He attended Christ Church in Jacksonville, FL. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Gloria Butler and son, Tom Grostick. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Grostick, his two children Sarah Rosen and Matt Grostick, grandchildren Emma, Caroline, Katie, and Abby Rosen and Lincoln and Amelia Grostick. He will be laid to rest at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville, TN
