He was surrounded by his children, Bruce Larsen, Kathryn Forfa, and Karen May. Edward was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 16th, 1931 to Earling Adrian Larsen and Marie Jeannette (Bushman) Larsen. His siblings, Richard Larsen, Nancy Daly, and David Larsen had already preceded his passing. His sons-in-law are Stanley Forfa, Bobby May, and Michael Link. Edward was very sports minded in his youth and after graduating in 1949 from Center Moriches High School, he and his brother Richard played semi pro baseball on Long Island. Ed was a lifelong New York Yankees fan. He joined the United States Air Force in 1952, where he served faithfully for 23 years in Military Law Enforcement. He met his wife of almost 65 years, Micheline “Mimi” Camarsac when he served in Bordeaux, France. They married on May 18, 1955. A Vietnam Veteran, he served at Ben Hoa Air Force Base, near Saigon in 1969. As an Air Force family, we were stationed in West Hampton, Long Island, New York, Frankfurt, Germany, Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. After his tour in Vietnam, while still on active duty as a Master Sergeant, he was assigned to be a Sky Marshal and flew all over the world as an undercover attache’. Ed was awarded the Bronze Star. After his retirement from the US Air Force in 1975, Ed went to work for Virginia Power (now Dominion Energy) as a Physical Security Specialist for the company’s Nuclear Power Plants. Ed had graduated from Thomas Nelson Community College with an Associate Degree in Police Science. Ed and Mimi moved to Powhatan, Virginia where they lived for 20 years. After his second retirement, Ed and Mimi moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1996 and joined the Newcomers Club where they became fast friends with about 30 other couples in the area. Ed and Mimi spent a lot of their time in either bowling leagues, playing golf or tennis, and going on many, many cruises. After Mimi was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, they moved to the Jacksonville, FL area to be closer to family. Ed cared for Mimi with the help of family until her passing on April 3, 2020. Edward is survived by his three children, but is now in heaven with his beloved wife Mimi, his parents and siblings. He truly had a Wonderful Life!!
