Edward Joseph Pifer, 52, of Orange Park, FL, passed away September 30, 2017. He was born on June 10, 1965 in Mansfield, OH to parents Jack and Jeanette (Wasily) Pifer, Jr. Mr. Pifer was a Gulf War veteran, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy. In his free time he loved to ride his motorcycle and was a jack-of-all trades and known as a friend to all.He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother, Jeanie Pifer; step-mother, Elene Pifer; wife, Jessica Pifer; mother of his children, Jeannie Pifer; children, Shanell Shine, Damon Pifer (Jeree), T’Neisha Masline (Michael); step-children, Cynthia Hilton, Joseph Hilton III, Charles Hilton and Chelsea Hilton; brothers, Mike and Steven Pifer; sister, Chrissy Fegley and grandchildren, Auron Hawkins, Isaiah Brooks, Aria Pifer, Melanie Masline and Kamden Perry.The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, October 6, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Ronnie Surrency and Rev. Abron Marshall, Jr. officiating.
