Elaine C. Austin

Elaine C Austin, age 65, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 surrounded by family. Born February 26, 1955 in Warren Minnesota to Raymond and Mayme (Larsen) Anfinson. Elaine was married to Edwin Austin Sr for 25 years prior to his passing in 1999. Elaine was a civil service worker at NAS Jacksonville for 17 years before her retirement just this past March. Elaine was a loving mother to her son Edwin Austin Jr (Chloe) and daughter Emily Timmons (Bryan); feisty younger sister to Cathy Dahlman, Laura Jevning, and Beverly (Paul) Stennes. Elaine was a very proud Nana to her ten grandchildren: Edwin III, Hailey, Laynee, Landon, Cristian, Julian, Liam, Evelyn, Lincoln, and Lilly. Elaine also has numerous nieces and nephews. She will be forever remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and the plethora of plants she had. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Sidney, Andy, Michael, Burton, and John Anfinson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 12, 2020 at 3pm in the Broadus Raines Chapel with Dr. Mark Sellers officiating. Interment will be done at a later date with family.
