Ellen M. Rose

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ellen M Rose, age 82, on April 20, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.  

Ellen Rose was born on October 5, 1940 in New York, New York. She graduated from Julia Richman High School in 1958 and went on to be a Secretary for the State of New York. Ellen retired from Helen Hayes Hospital in 2005 and decided to move to sunny Florida with her daughter.  

Ellen was survived by two wonderful children, Juliane Rose McQuaig (spouse Brian McQuaig) and Steven Rose (spouse Lisa Rose), and 5 beautiful granddaughters Savannah M Rose, Alexandra N Rose Jordan, Heather E Rose Jordan, Alexis V Rose Jordan, and Emily R Rose.  

Ellen was a faithful woman and a member of the Catholic church. She enjoyed all things shopping, collecting antiques, and the finest thing in life- chocolate. She will be remembered for her independence, beauty, and sense of humor.  

Her family has decided to have a private service to honor her.  

Although she will be greatly missed, with faith we know she is in the presence of God and all those who predeceased her.
