Elsbeth Meeks

Elsbeth “Liz” Meeks, 80 years old, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on November 21, 2019.  Born to Franz & Josephine Schlosser on September 3, 1939 in Landstuhl, Germany.  Married to James S. Meeks for 55 years.  Over the years she worked as an Executive Chef at several locations.  She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she loved to serve her fellow members.  Although she was a Chef by profession, she loved to cook and have large family meals and gatherings.  She was an avid gardener and loved to can the items she grew.  She will always be remembered for her total commitment to her family.  Preceded in death by her daughter, Marrianna Schaffner and son, Jon Meeks. Survived by husband, James S. Meeks and son, Michael R. Meeks both of Middleburg, Fl; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great -great-grandchildren.
