Eva A. Zuleger

January 17, 1923 – May 20, 2018

Eva passed away on Sunday May 20, 2018 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 95.

She was born to Albert and Elizabeth Witzig on January 17, 1923 in Chemnitz, Germany. Eva attended Ecole Hoteliere in Lausanne, Switzerland . She spoke five languages English, German, French, Swiss-German, Italian and some Spanish. Eva married Curt Zuleger on December 17, 1946. She and her husband immigrated to the United States from Switzerland in 1948. While living in New York, Eva worked as the head hostess at Toffeneti’s . They had two children a daughter, Jackie, and son Edward.  Later, Eva and her family moved to Florida where they owned a travel agency. Curt preceeded her in death on August 16, 1985. Eva joined Satellite Beach, FL. Moose Chapter #1983, on April 12,1995, and earned her Academy of Friendship Degree on April 18, 2010. She sponsored 14 members in her lifetime. Eva moved to Moosehaven on June 27, 2013 where she resided for four years and eleven months.

A memorial service will be held in Switzerland at a later date.

She is survived by her daughter Jackie Blakesley of Satellite Beach, FL.,and son Edward Zuleger of Daville, CA, 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
