Fay R Weaver, age 92, died peacefully in the arms of her daughter and granddaughter on June 7, 2021, at their home in Jacksonville, FL after a lengthy illness.
Fay was born on September 26, 1928, in Columbus, OH to Helen and George Davis. Fay was happily married to Ralph Weaver for 66 years prior to his death in 2016. Fay is survived by her sister, Marianne Davis, her son, Michael Weaver, her daughter, Deborah Bilbrey, her granddaughter, Kendra Stewart, her great-grandson, Tyler Stewart, and her 2 beloved great-great-granddogs, Colt and Remington.
Besides spending time with her family and friends after retiring from Paramount Pictures, Fay spent most of her time reading, completing crossword puzzles and dog sitting. Fay had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her feistiness. She touched many lives with her caring heart and infectious laugh. Fay was the glue to her family and will be missed terribly by everyone who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice would be appreciated at: https://www.communityhospice.com/give/
