Frances "Fran" M. Blaisdell

Frances “Fran” M. Blaisdell went peacefully to the arms of the Lord, Wednesday, February 27, 2019.

Fran was born in Capitol Heights, Maryland to John and Nettie Cook on October 2, 1927.   Fran worked for Social Security and the VA until her retirement.  She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church, enjoyed flower arranging and traveling.  She will be remembered for her quick wit and her caring for others. 

Fran is predeceased by her husband, William L. Blaisdell and Nettie Jackson (Larry), her oldest daughter.  She is survived by her two sons, Stephen E. Cieplinski (Martha), Richard A. Cieplinski (Janice), daughter, Cindee O’Brien, grandchildren, Debbie Jakes, Anne Cieplinski, William O’Brien and her beloved lap sitting companion “Max”. 

A memorial service will be held at the Lakewood United Methodist Church, Saturday, March 2 at 11:00 am with Rev. Donald Thompson officiating. A reception will follow at the church.
