Frances Dixon McDonald

Frances Dixon McDonald, 94, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on December 22, 2022.  She was born on December 17, 1928, in Hilliard, FL to the late Harold and Minnie (VanZant) Dixon.

Frances was a lifelong resident of Northeast Florida and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Green Cove Springs.  She enjoyed crafting and being outside watching the butterflies and listening to the birds sing.  Frances loved her church family and being a stay-at-home mother to her boys.  She was very caring and loving.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Jud Houston McDonald in 2014.  She is survived by her sons, Jud Scott McDonald (Rita) and Russell Dixon McDonald; and her granddaughters, Sheryl Chandler and Kyra Chandler.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 6, 2023, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor David Jackson officiating.
