Gary Hall

Gary Hall, age 61 of Middleburg, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Gary was born on October 1, 1957 to Herbert and Peggy Hall in Jesup, Georgia.

Gary worked at Gilman Paper Company for nearly 25 years, driving a forklift and grading wood. Gary attended Green Cove Springs Church of God.

Gary is survived by his loving girlfriend of over 10 years, Melissa Duryea; sisters, Shirley Hall and Millie Masters; brother, Wayne Hall; daughter, Jessica Ayers and grandson, Logan Ayers; as well as many loving family members, extended family members and caring friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert & Peggy Hall and his brothers Otis and Tony Hall.

He will be remembered for his love and support for his daughter and grandson, his love for fishing, his infectious humor and most of all his love for the Georgia Bulldogs!! Gary loved taking care of his grandson and watching Georgia Football on the weekends. He was always the life of the party and could put a smile on anyone's face! He would also give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, he had such a caring spirit.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel and funeral services will start at 2:00pm with Pastor Larry Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, Florida 32068.
