Gary T. Westall

Gary T. Westall, 82, of Green Cove Springs, Florida went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2021.

Gary was born to James Brannon and Katherine Nell Westall on August 17, 1938, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. 

Gary loved all things mechanical, and this love served the community in the form of his business, Westall’s Auto Service, for over 20 years.  Gary was passionate about music and played the trumpet for many years.  He also loved animals and owned horses since childhood.  He will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others.  He loved his family and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. 

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, Gilbert, and son, Gary.   

Gary is survived by his wife of 53 and a half years, Linda; sister, Othella Elliott (Gordon); sons: James Elliott Westall, Alan Goble (Lisa), Chris Alan Westall (Angie), Martin Dean Westall, Donald Edward Westall (Wendy), and Brannon Scott Westall (Rebekah); 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 14^, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church of Green Cove Springs with Dr. Tim McDaniel will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Community Hospice & Palliative Care of Clay County at: https://www.communityhospice.com/give/
