Geneva Rodgers

Geneva Culbertson Rodgers, 88, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away August 3, 2017. She was born in Salyersville, KY to parents James Monroe Culbertson and Ida Ellen Harmon. Mrs. Rodgers was a member of Harbor Baptist Church, loved gardening, especially taking care of her citrus trees. She enjoyed reading and eating dinner out. She was predeceased by her husband, Norvle A. Rodgers and a son Gerald David Chase. Mrs. Rodgers is survived by her daughter, Debbie Griffith of Colorado; brothers, Bob (Wilma) Culbertson, Bill (Lucy) Culbertson and Robert (Wanda Felber; sister, Elizabeth Shriver; sister-in-law, Martha Jones; granddaughter, Megan Griffith; nephew, Dan (Cindi) Wade and numerous other family members. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 at Harbor Baptist Church, 1120 Clay St at Hwy 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003 with Pastor Samuel H. Jewell officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
