George "Bil'' William Burchett

George William “Bill” Burchett went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2024 in Orlando, FL at age 91, following a lifetime of Christian service.

Bill was born January 10, 1933, in Dunkirk, New York to Walter and Ruth Burchett. Following graduation from Dunkirk High School, Bill enrolled in the Buffalo Bible Institute to prepare for missionary service. While in the institute he met his future wife, Sheila Sockett. The couple married in 1954.

He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Sheila Burchett, his sister Mary Ann Burchett, his son Jim Burchett and his wife Kimberly, and his daughter Carroll Etheredge and husband Tom, grandchildren Cynthia Schweibold (and husband Steven), Becki Clancy (and husband Kyle), Johnny Etheredge, Adam Burchett (and wife Amanda), Brian Burchett (and wife Shelby), Allison Burchett, and Great Grandchildren Luke Schweibold, Owen Schweibold, Ezra Schweibold, Brielle Clancy, Emmett Clancy, Noah Burchett and Lily Burchett.
