George L. Falcon passed away peacefully with his family by his side in the evening of February 4th, 2025. Born in El Paso, Texas, December 30th, 1956, to Sara and Jose Falcon. George graduated from Mark Keppel High School and proudly served our country in the Marine Corps.
George Falcon was an avid fisherman and could often be found at the local pier in town or by the ocean fishing away. He also had a love for pool and competed in a pool league where his presence in the community only grew. George Falcon was also involved and volunteered with the Boy Scouts for nearly 30 years. He also traveled throughout the country to pow wows in the All Nations Color Guard. George's Native American heritage and culture as a Mescalero Apache was very important to him and his family and he spent the rest of his life singing, often as a lead singer, and dancing at pow wows. George Falcon was a true pillar of the community; he was loved by many, and he will be remembered for his passion for life and the love for his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jose; his brother, David; his mother, Sara and several loved ones.
Those still here to uphold George Falcon's memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Gay Lee; his sisters, Saralee Balog and Julie Falcon; his brother, Salvador Falcon; his son, Anthony; his three daughters, Alexandria, Rosalie, and Dominique; and his many grandchildren, Anthony, Destiny, Paris, Logan, Isaiah, Neland, and Waverly.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Speaking for the family is longtime family friend, Wayne Moon.
