Gloria Ann Perry

Gloria Ann Perry, 84, Middleburg, Florida passed away Friday, April 9th.  Ann was born to James and Janie Higdon on April 24th, 1936 in Columbus, Georgia.  She was married to Neil Francis Perry.

She was a dedicated Wal-Mart employee for 17 years in both Georgia and Florida, but will most be remembered for her love of animals and her volunteerism with the Safe Animal Shelter in Clay County Florida.  No cat went homeless or hungry in her presence!  Ann took great pride in being the greatest Nana around, both to her own grandchildren and any other kids around that needed her attention. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Neil; parents, brothers John, Jack, and Bob; and sisters Gladys and Mamie.  Ann is survived by her daughter, Sheila; grandchildren Jason, Justin, and Jillian; and great-grandchildren Brandon, Kaylin, Haley, Bradley, Hannah, and Alyssa.

Celebration of life will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 3:00 pm.

 In lieu of flowers, donations to the Clay County Safe Animal Shelter in Middleburg, Florida would be appreciated.
