Grace G. Villalobos, 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family in Middleburg, Florida on December 6, 2024. Grace was born in Brownsville, Texas, the daughter of Esperanza Castro Fernandez. On October 1,1955, Grace and Don Villalobos were united in marriage enjoying almost 57 years prior to his death in 2013. Grace is preceded in death by her husband Don, her daughter Donna, mother Esperanza, and sister Mary Louise. Survivors include two sons, Adam (Rose) Villalobos and Albert Villalobos both of Topeka, and two daughters Anita Villalobos, Georgia and Vera (Earl) Rissen, Florida, 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. Grace worked 27 plus years as an educator ending her career at Whitson Elementary School in 1999. Grace enjoyed reading, sharing jokes, traveling domestically and internationally, playing Wordscapes, a word puzzle game, where she would enter the weekend tournaments placing #1 out of 100 multiple times and would strive to stay in the top 10. Grace was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Above all, she loved her family and her God. Services will be held at a future date at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka, KS. Burial will be at the Holy Trinity Mausoleum at Mount Calvary Cemetery 801 SW Westchester Rd, Topeka, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eternal World Television Network/EWTN 5817 Old Leeds Rd Irondale, Alabama 35210-2164 or Community Hospice & Palliative Care 4266 Sunbeam Rd Jacksonville, FI 32257 in Grace's memory.
