Guynelle Riner Dobson

Guynelle Riner Dobson passed away peacefully on September 30, 2020 at Community Hospice at Baptist Medical Center.

She was born on September 27, 1934 to Clayton and Lois Riner in Kite, Georgia. She married the love of her life, James H. Dobson on May 29, 1954.

They moved to Green Cove Springs in 1957 where they lived the rest of their lives. She worked at the Bank of Green Cove, Freedom Federal, GNC and retired from the Clay County Health Department. She enjoyed her time being a member of the VIA and Japonica Garden Club.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Lois Riner; husband, Jack Dobson; mother-in-law, Cleo Roberts; and daughter-in-law, Dendra Dobson.

She is survived by her son, James Gary Dobson; daughter, Tracey Ann Jett (Charles); sisters, Ann Hatcher Griffis and Rhonda Jane LeBlanc (Greg); granddaughter, Charley Jett Shepherd (Travis) of Keystone Heights, Florida; grandson, Nathaniel Jett (Amy) of Fleming Island, Florida; and granddaughter, Melissa Jett Jones (Darin) of Jacksonville, Florida. She had five beautiful great-grandchildren, Allyannah Jones, Ryder Jett, Brooklyn Jett, Jackson Jett and Taelynn Shepherd who she loved more than life itself.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
