Hal Byers McIntyre II, aged 74, of Orange Park, Florida, passed away peacefully February 27, 2018. Born to Hal Byers McIntyre and Dorothy McIntyre (nee Wood) on May 29, 1943 in Washington D.C. Hal grew up in Sioux Falls, SD where he met and married Bonnadell “Boni” Arfsten on February 5 1966 after his military service. Throughout the years, Hal worked as a sales representative for various companies, accumulating numerous awards for his performance and aptitude. An avid bowler, Hal spent a few years spanning from the late-1960s to early-70s on the Professional Bowlers Tour. He was an enthusiast for the sport, and for a time, worked for Ebonite as a representative, leading exhibitions for their equipment. He left behind the love and passion for bowling in his daughter Beth and granddaughter Megan. He was also an avid golfer, taking his late son-in-law golfing with him whenever he had the chance in the sunshine state. Hal was preceded in death by his parents, his elder sister Lynda Fergen, younger brother Kevin McIntyre. He is survived by his sister Maureen Jund, his daughters Beth Peters and Misty (Tim) Graham, his granddaughter Megan Peters, and nieces and nephews. As of 2021, he is reunited with his soulmate Boni. May they rest in peace.
