Harmon Roberts (Bob) Hawkins, 95, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on March 5, 2018. Harmon was born on March 13, 1922 in Omaha, Nebraska to Harmon Horton Hawkins and Annabell Effie Roberts.
He served in the military during World War II as a pilot and 1st lieutenant from 1943-1946. Harmon was a member of Lake Shore Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida.
Harmon is survived by his wife, Nadine Hawkins; daughters, Sandy Gladfelter (Lee) of Arboles, Colorado, and Beth Neuenschwander (Tim) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; son, Bob Hawkins (Pat) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; step-daughter, Marilyn Williams (Ken) of Jacksonville, Florida, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on March 20, 2018 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 with full military honors.
