Helen Jeannette Ayers-Stewart 64, of Middleburg, FL passed away August 2, 2023. Jeannette was born to Alice and John Ayers on February 2, 1959, in Jacksonville, FL. She was a bus driver for years with Clay County School board and lifelong Cosmetologist. She was preceded in death by her husband Skip Stewart, parents Alice and John Ayers, brothers Tony and Arty Ayers, sisters Nina Mae Hatcher, Diane Savage, and Patsy Eaton, and nephew Christopher Ayers.
Jeannette was affiliated with Congregational Holiness Church and American Legion Post 250. She loved to be in her garden, go hunting, and riding her four-wheeler. She will be remembered as a loving mother, nanna, sister, aunt, and friend.
Jeannette is survived by her partner Chuckie McClendon, her daughter Tabatha Melcolm (Kenny), son Arty Hinton, granddaughters Emma Melcolm (G-baby), Rose (Squishy) and Lorelai Hinton (Peanut). She is also survived by her brothers Jr Ayers (Donna Kay), Lee Ayers (Cherie), and sister Annette Ayers. She is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM-11:00AM Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel and funeral services will begin at 11:00AM with Pastor Mitch Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Peoria Cemetery.
