Helen McNeal Snellgrove Jarvies

Helen McNeal Snellgrove Jarvies passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday July 20^th, 2021.

She was married to the love of her Life Harold (Louie) Jarvies who preceded her in Death on July 4^th, 2021.  She was born in Alabama and moved to Green Cove Springs Fl in the late 1950’s and raised her Family there. She was a housewife and homemaker and to her grandchildren ‘Maw Maw’ and to her Great Grandchildren Great Grandma. She was preceded in Death by her Children. James Wesley Snellgrove , Rick Snellgrove, and Janice Cummings . Grandchildren Derek Snellgrove Denny and April Erskine, Renee Limbeck and D.J. Snellgrove . Son InLaws Charlie Padgett and Don Merritt and Daughter InLaw Ginger Snellgrove. Her Sisters Dorothy Homes and Eddie Bea Henderson and one brother Charles Eldridge (Billy) McNeal. She is survived by Children, Charles Snellgrove (Launa), Donald Snellgrove, Annette Padgett and Branda Merritt. 13 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and 19 Great Great Grandchildren. Brother Charles McNeal (Martha) and sister Ollie Mae Hatcher.  Two sisters in Laws Arlene Hagin and Pat Warner. Her niece Judy Johnson (Daniel) and Mary Lynn and Donnie Roberts, Harold and Linda Hatcher whom she loved like family. She loved to travel with her Husband, working puzzles, Ceramics and working in her Flowerbeds.  Her Family was always the center of her life and she enjoyed each new addition to the family. She will be remembered for being the most Loving person you could ever meet and Loving the Lord and praying for her family.  She will be greatly missed but we know there was a great homecoming in heaven and a joy to be reunited with all who have gone before her.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:00am on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Interment will follow the funeral service at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
