Ian Derek Wollen

Ian Derek Wollen, 89, of Green Cove Springs, Florida passed away on Tuesday August 18, 2020.  He was born on December 7, 1930 in Japan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Cubas Wollen.  He and Wanda were married for 14 years.

Ian arrived in Florida on his yacht Lungta, having spent the past 20 years sailing in many parts of the world.  He came ashore in Green Cove Springs, where he had a very happy retirement with his wife Wanda, Wanda’s family, Bob, Susan, and Melissa, and most especially Wanda’s great nieces, Stephanie and Abigail.

Ian made many friends in Florida, whom he met with Wanda at the YMCA and at his Church, St Marys Episcopalian, Green Cove Springs.

He is survived by his daughter Sally, his son Christopher and his three grandchildren, Edward, Alice and Ben. 

He will be much missed by his family and friends.
