Ionia Guthrie Moody

Ionia Moody, 88, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2021. Ionia was born on September 10, 1932 to the late Harry and Ella Mae Guthrie. Ionia was loved and adored by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her special love and concern for others was felt by everyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She is also preceded in death by her husband Jack Moody and children Ray Sapp, Ronnie Kirkham, and Pamela Moody. She is survived by her children Karen Sapp and Michael Moody; stepdaughter Cheryl Moody Lowe; grandchildren Carmen Hearons, Karen Collins, Shane Moody, and Kyle Moody; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.

The family will receive friends from 10:30am - 11:00am, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Congregational Holiness Church. Funeral services to begin at 11:00am with Rev. Ronnie Surrency officiating. Graveside service to follow at Penney Farms Cemetery.
