Irene Roman, 62 of Clay County FL, passed away on Monday August 21, 2023. She was born to Ralph Cudabac and Mary Belford on August 30th, 1960, in Manhattan, NY. She graduated from Richmond Hill High School, retired from the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman First Class, and worked for R1 RCM before retiring in 2022. She was Catholic and was affiliated with St. Paul’s Catholic Church at Jacksonville Beach before moving back to Orange Park and getting reacquainted with St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Orange Park. She was also a member of the Franciscan Third Order (Mount La Verna Fraternity) She loved going to the movies, going to mass, walking on the beach, adopting dogs, and watching crime documentaries. She will be remembered as being the best friend a person could have and being an awesome nana. Survived by her three adult children: Bianca Roman, Natasha Timberlake and Nikolaus Roman as well as her six grandchildren: Ethan, Izabela, Logan, Zannah, Abigail, and Greyson. Her memorial service will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Friday September 22, 2023, at 2:30pm.
