Jack Biddle, HMC/E-7 USNR(TAR), Aerospace Medical Technician, 74, died peacefully in Middleburg on May 6, 2024, after a long hard fight with cancer. Jack was born on August 24, 1949, in Battle Mountain, NV to Earl and Gertrude Phillips. On April 3, 1969, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. On July 23, 1981, Jack married the love of his life Kim M Horning. During his 24- year Naval Aviation career – Navy Good Conduct Medal (4th Award); Republic of Vietnam MCU Cross of Gallantry; Armed Forces Reserve Medal; Expert Pistol Shot Medal; National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award); Purple Heart; Vietnam Service Medal w/FMF Insignia; Vietnam Service Medal w/one Bronze Star/ Jack loved spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, and tennis. He attended Lake Asbury Baptist Church. He was active in the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Chapter 1059 as the Associate Chaplain, VVAFSC State Chaplain and the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1059. Jack is remembered by his giving heart and always having a smile on his face. He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Kim; loving daughter, Holly Sexton (Paul); loving daughter Michele Reaves (Troy); daughter, Nicole Schenk (Keith). brother, Jerry Biddle (Lani); sister, Jeannie Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Biddle. Jack’s legacy continues in his seven adored grandchildren, Janessa and Brianna Sexton, Hunter and Riley Reaves, Kaley Dotson, Jonathan and Andrew Schenk. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Randy Bryan officiating. A graveside service at Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors will follow at 1:00pm.
