Jack E. Cloud

January 17, 1933 — March 3, 2021

Chief Jack Edward Cloud, USN (RET), 88, of Middleburg, FL passed away March 3, 2021. He was born in Hammon, Oklahoma January 17, 1933.  

Jack served in and retired from the Navy after 20 years of service in 1971.  He went on to work for Xerox and NADEP until 1998.  He served as an ordained deacon at Hickory Grove Baptist Church and currently was a faithful member of Lake Asbury Baptist Church. Jack was a man of many talents and interests including woodworking, model plane construction, painting, photography, and all things computer.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy Cloud; sons: CDR Jack E Cloud Jr, USN (RET), and Bruce (Loretta) Cloud; grandchildren: MAJ Raymond E (Valerie) Cloud, USA (RET), Daniel Cloud, Rebecka Cloud, and James Cloud; great grandchildren: Dillon Cloud, DC2 Dillian LeCounte, USN, and Morgan Cloud.

A graveside service will be held at 9:30am, Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Brother Ray Dukes officiating. Procession will line up in Lane #2. A memorial service in his honor will be held at Lake Asbury Baptist Church on Memorial Day, May 31, 2021 with the time to be determined.
