It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack Randall Faulkner, lovingly known as J.R. or Randy, who peacefully departed this world to his heavenly home on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at the age of 76 in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on May 21, 1947, in Huntington, West Virginia to his late parents, Jack Francis Faulkner and Fleeta Belle (Pinkerman) Faulkner. Their guidance and love shaped Jack into the remarkable person he became.
Jack's life was a testament to tradition, values, and the enduring spirit of family.
Jack dedicated his career to the United States Civil Service, where he served as a skilled and respected machinist. With unwavering commitment and a strong work ethic, he contributed his talents to the betterment of his community. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and offer advice to anyone in need.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Jack found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep appreciation for motorcycles, classic cars, and the beauty of the beach. He was also devoted to being a Christian and attended New Beginnings Church. These passions brought him moments of respite and allowed him to forge lasting memories with loved ones.
Jack's legacy lives on through his dearest daughter Jacqueline (Faulkner) Hardin, his beloved granddaughters Cassidy, Charlotte, & Cora, his cherished sister Angela Gay (Faulkner) Lowry, and his best companions Snickers and Mickey (The stink drawer twins). He’s also survived by many more extended family members and friends. Their bonds, nurtured by a lifetime of shared experiences and unconditional love, will forever be a testament to the strength of family ties.
During this time of mourning, the compassionate professionals at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home in Green Cove Springs, Florida, are assisting the family with the necessary arrangements. The family will receive friends at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3:00pm.
As we gather to honor Jack's life, let us reflect on the values he held dear: hard work, dedication, and the importance of family. May his memory serve as a reminder to cherish our loved ones and embrace the traditions that bind us together.
In our hearts, Jack will forever remain a beacon of tradition and a symbol of the enduring spirit that connects generations. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. Just like he always said, “God Bless”.
