James Joseph Campbell

James J. Campbell, 68, passed from this life on February 20, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at home in Orange Park, Florida. Jim was born on April 14, 1956 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania to James Campbell and Catherine Campbell (Fuertsch).

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Campbell (Healy); son, James Christopher Campbell (Lisa) of Gilbertsville, PA and daughter, Amie Campbell Ward of Orange Park, FL. One sister, Kathleen Marie Campbell of Pottstown, PA. Also, four grandchildren, Andrea and Lily Campbell, Brandon and Caitlyn Ward, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was pre-deceased by his parents, a brother Joseph and a sister Kelly Ann. 

Jim graduated from Pottstown High School and enjoyed a long career as a machinist. First with Doehler Jarvis and then with Synthes USA, later DePuy Synthes, retiring in 2015, when he moved to Orange Park. 

The ensuing years provided Jim with the opportunity to enjoy his many pleasant pastimes. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and was an Eagles season-ticket holder for 25 plus years. He enjoyed fishing and taking the dogs swimming at the park and all the parties and picnics surrounded by family, especially his best friend Dave. 

A memorial service and celebration of Jim’s life will be held in Pottstown, PA at a later- yet to be determined date.
