James Frederick Dougherty, 73, of Middleburg, FL, passed away September 6, 2017. He was born on April 28, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA to the late John Joseph and Clara Marie (Hauenstein) Dougherty. James came to the area 11 years ago from New Jersey and was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed fishing and collecting Betty Boop dolls. James proudly served his country in the United States Army. James is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John Francis and Nadine Dougherty and their family.
