James L. Espey

James L. Espey, 80, of Middleburg, FL passed away Friday, August 7th, 2020. He was born on the 29th of May 1940 in Guilford, N.C. to the late James Winfield Espey and Van Edith McCoy. Graduated from the Univ. of Texas in 1964. Served in the Marines from 1959 to 1965 as a Corporal in the reserves. Worked as a C.P.A for almost 40 years in Texas. Member of the Masonic lodge. Enjoyed camping and attending gospel sings. He will be remembered for his love of his country and being a devoted husband.

 James (Jim) is survived by his loving wife Joyce A. Espey,72 and stepson Eric Hall, son Gary L. Espey and daughter Terri L. Collins, sister Cathy Noble and husband Bill, numerous cousins, grandkids and great grandkids.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on the 12th of August 2020 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Bobby Baker officiating. Donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans organization in memory of James L. Espey
