James Francis Muma, Sr.

James Muma Sr., age 75 of Orange Park, FL, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 surrounded by his wife, sons, and daughters. James was born to Norman and Alice Muma in London, Ontario, Canada on August 1, 1943. He was married to Rosa Mirian Muma for 28 years.

As a young man he moved to the United States and joined the U.S. Army specializing in aircraft maintenance. He was a Vietnam War veteran where he earned a Bronze Star Medal amongst other honorary accomplishments. After retiring, he worked as a contractor providing services to government agencies. He supported an extended number of missions that took him all over the world including El Salvador, Colombia, Australia, and Iraq to name a few.

He is survived by his wife, 4 sons, 3 daughters, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Jim will be forever remembered by family and friends for his dedication to family, work, and his country.
