Janice Costolo

Janice passed away August 5, 2023, in the Moosehaven Memory Care Hall at the age of 81.

She was born to Joseph and Georgianna Camillo on September 9, 1941, in South Dartmouth, MA. She graduated from Dartmouth High School in 1959 where she was involved in drama and competed in beauty pageants.  She was crowned Miss Chevrolet in 1960.

Janice has one son Vernon.  She worked as an executive secretary for 17 years.  She worked at Hendricks Avenue Baptist and First Baptist Church both in Jacksonville, FL until she retired in 2003.

Janice became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on May 5, 1980, when she joined Lauderdale Lakes, FL Chapter #1699. 

Memorial Services held Monday, August 21, 2023, at 2pm in the Moosehaven Chapel. Services conducted by Community Hospice Chaplain Tracy Tucker and Opportunity Chapter.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Bobby and Donny.

Janice is survived by her son, Vernon and wife Julie Costolo of Yulee, Florida. Her granddaughters Emily (William) Bodden and Megan Costolo along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
