Jeanne Gertrude Gionet

Jeanne Gertrude Gionet passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 and joined her beloved husband, Jeff, sister Joanne, and parents in Heaven. 

Jeanne and Jeff loved wholeheartedly and took great care of each other. Jeanne’s Catholic faith was very important to her, and she served faithfully at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fleming Island. She was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the CCW. Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Jeanne is survived by her children, Jeffrey Gionet, his wife Dorothe, Jennifer Weatherly, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and sister, Cecile Posterro.

A Catholic Mass will be held in her honor at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Fleming Island. Lunch immediately following in the church hall. 

The family would like to extend a heart-felt "Thank You" to Jeanne’s neighbor Ina, her church friends and the staff at Haven Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven Hospice of Northeast Florida www.havenhospice.com
