Jesse Orion Bell

Jesse Orion Bell age 87, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on August 23, 2021 at Allegro assisted living facility in Fleming Island, FL. Jesse was born in Louisville, KY on September 11, 1933, to James and Marie Bell. After graduating from high school, he entered the Air Force, during the time of his four-year service he was stationed at Texas and Japan. After his time in the military he moved to Jacksonville, FL where he worked for Glidden until he joined the US Postal Service where he retired 27 years later. In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports, traveling the country, and spending time with family. He was a member at First Baptist Middleburg since 1971. Most of all he will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and son Steven Bell. Jesse is survived by his loving wife Lucille Bell of Fleming Island, FL; his grandchildren Jason (Toni) Bell of Macclenny, FL, Michael J. Fronek of Middleburg, FL, Christopher R. (Julie) Fronek of Middleburg, FL; great grandchildren, Destiny, Jacob, and Jasmine Bell, Kody and Alyssa Fronek; and many other close family and friends. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests any love offerings be directed to First Baptist Middleburg’s Great Expectations program. A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held on September 11th, 2021 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Middleburg with Pastor Chris Drum (FBC Baldwin) and Pastor Ralph Estevez (FBC Middleburg) officiating, 2645 Blanding Boulevard, Middleburg, FL 32068.
