Joan Corinne Kluza

Joan Corinne (Viken) Kluza, 61, of Orange Park, FL and formerly of Arlington Heights, Illinois passed away on May 31^st, 2018.  She was born on December 21^st, 1956 in Illinois to Marge and Donald Viken of Green Cove Springs.  Joan was first and foremost a loving wife, a strong and loyal sister and an amazing aunt to her hordes of nieces and nephews, and good friend.  Joan was an insurance executive for many years and she enjoyed training and supporting people to fully utilize their benefits and make their lives better. Her love and friendship will be missed!  She is predeceased by her Mother Marge.

She is survived by her loving husband Mark of 17 years, her father Donald and her seven brothers and sisters; Mark Viken (Kathy), Paul Viken (Terri), Ellen Grgurich (Tony), Tim Viken (Liz), Julie Mandele (Bob), David Viken, Kris Bateman (Eric); 17 nieces and nephews and eight grand nieces and nephews – she never forgot to send birthday cards and remembered them all.

Joan was an avid gardener, a professional clothing designer and sewing expert. She expressed her creativity through these and many other pursuits. She loved her dogs - Tigger, Norm, Jazz, Jake and Gus almost as much as her husband Mark. 

The family will receive friends in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 Highway 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003.  A luncheon reception will follow in Sullivan Hall.
