John Kiedrowski, Jr., 84, went to be with the Lord, on October 30, 2021, after spending several hours visiting with his family. Jack, as he was known by his family and friends, was born on February 27, 1937, in Richmond, Virginia. He was the only child of the late John Kiedrowski, Sr. and Imogene Hooper Kiedrowski. He was a long-time resident of St. Augustine, Florida. Jack was a United States Navy veteran who spent 8 years as a mechanic in the United States Seabee Construction Battalion, serving in Japan and Korea. Upon leaving the military, Jack followed his dream by joining the Richmond Racing Team of 1962 and began a career as a motocross racer. His career ended when he broke his back in 13 places while driving his motorcycle during a race. Later on, he moved to Florida and began a long and successful career at the Jacksonville Shipyard where he achieved supervisor status. He was a life-long gun enthusiast and a Life Member of the National Rifle Association of America. He will best be remembered as a loving Papa and an avid collector of antique guns and war memorabilia. Jack is survived by his only son, Jamie (Len) Kiedrowski and his three grandchildren; Madison, Mason and Grayson Kiedrowski, all of Middleburg, Florida.
